2.主講人簡(jiǎn)介
Dr. Liu Zheng is President’s Chair Professor at NTU. Hisresearch focuson the synthesis and engineering of 2Dmaterials for electronic, catalytic applications and materials by design. His prolific career includes the publication of over 400 papers, with more than 60 featured in Nature/Science serial journals, accumulating over 70,000 citations and achieving an H-index of more than 130. Dr. Liu has received numerous awards. In 2012, he was a finalist for the World Technology Award in the Energy category. He received the Singapore NRF Fellowship and the Nanyang Assistant Professorship the following year. In 2018, he was honored with the ICON-2DMAT Young Scientist Award and the Singapore Young Scientist Award. In 2019, he was named the Materials Research Society of Singapore Chair Professor and received the Asia's Rising Scientists and the Nanyang Research Award. Notably, in 2023, he was awarded the prestigious APEC ASPIRE Prize. Dr. Liu has also been recognized as a highly cited researcher from 2018 to 2025.
